Eight fingers, eight home keys. Everything else is a trip away from them and back. Pick who is practicing.
Accuracy unlocks the next rung, not speed. Speed comes later on its own; a fast hunt-and-peck habit never does.
Keys are tinted by which finger owns them and numbered 1 index, 2 middle, 3 ring, 4 pinky. Progress is saved in this browser only.
Speed and accuracy are kept on separate charts on purpose: they move independently, and early on accuracy holding steady while speed creeps up is exactly what progress looks like.
Real writing, not exercises. Each one opens as soon as you have been taught every letter in it — worked out from the text, so it can never ask you for a key you have never seen.
Index fingers on the two bumped keys, F and J. Watch a disc leave home and come back — that return is the whole skill. Eyes on the screen, not on your hands.
